The Keepers

A set of 8 figures, drawn from a larger set of 22, giving each of the Eight Harbor Doors a human face. Each of the 22 pairs an archetype role with a biblical figure who embodies it — a worked example, not an oracle. Only the 8 that fit the current doors are defined here; the rest remain undefined until they’re needed.

On the name “Keepers”
The 22 are deliberately not called “Arcana” — that word carries tarot and occult association this project explicitly avoids, especially for Christian readers encountering the site. “Keepers” is the chosen term throughout.
